Another poor perfromance by England vs Panama. When Thomas Tuchel gets gutted by the media, and eventually sacked, he can have no complaints.
Madueke, Spence, Konsa should be no where near the starting 11. Tuchel has gone all in on pace/power over anything else. Shaw, Maguire, and Palmer would have made England better.
Experience counts for a lot in international football, and given how bad the defending has been (especially Konsa), Maguire and Shaw would have added stability and basic defensive shape. Either Shaw or Hall would have been better than O'Reilly at left back. Don't get me started on Spence/James at right back.
It's not about race though (given the names i've mentioned). Mainoo is a generational talent, and perfect for international football - he has played 0 minutes so far. He should be starting, not Anderson - I don't get the hype. Why are Manchester City paying £116 million for him...
