Wu said it has learned that Etherlink, an EVM Layer 2 network in the Tezos ecosystem, announced that its EVM Bridge has encountered a security attack attempt. Out of an abundance of caution, the team has suspended all cross-chain transfers to protect user funds. Officials stated that there is currently no loss of funds, and they are collaborating with LayerZero, Asymmetric Research, and Zeeve to investigate and mitigate the risks. The timeline for resumption has not been announced yet.
