According to Beating monitoring, Musk announced that Grok 4.5, which is based on the 1.5 trillion-parameter V9 base model and supplemented with Cursor data training, has now entered internal private testing at SpaceX and Tesla. Early assessments show that its performance is approaching—and may even surpass—Opus, while reinforcement learning (RL) is still continuously making significant improvements to the model. The Grok Build toolchain is also advancing every day, and Musk expressed recognition for the work of the participating team.
In addition, Musk also revealed that this year, SpaceX and its related teams will release a brand-new, fully retrained model every month, to maintain a high-speed iteration cadence.
