【Caixin】 The railway industry is accelerating the integration of international resources and system layout. "Everyone is building overseas warehouses and yards, and the focus of each platform is to lay out the 'going global' strategy," said Ouyang Bing, general manager of China Railway Materials Supply Chain Technology Group, at the just-concluded Asian Logistics Biennale yesterday. In recent years, the industry has accelerated its expansion into overseas markets.

China Railway Materials Supply Chain Technology Group was established in 2019. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Materials Co., Ltd., which is under China Logistics Group—the only central state-owned enterprise in China's comprehensive logistics sector. The group mainly provides material supply chain management and integrated comprehensive logistics services around the railway industry.

Unifying Overseas Business, Laying Out Overseas Assets

Ouyang Bing believes that (the industry) must achieve energy efficiency optimization by expanding international corridors and overseas hub nodes. China's domestic hub construction is relatively complete, but there are still shortcomings in the construction of hubs in foreign corridors and key nodes.
