Zhang Xuefeng's advice on college entrance exam college application choices:

1. Avoid biology, chemistry, environmental science, and materials science, even at prestigious schools.
2. Avoid finance, unless your family is in finance.
3. Avoid management, unless your family owns a business that needs managing.
4. If you want to take the civil service exam, prioritize Chinese language and literature and ideological and political education; do not choose English.
5. If you want to become a doctor, attend a medical school in the region where you plan to practice.
6. For liberal arts, prioritize the school; for science and engineering, prioritize the major.
