After tracking Apple’s industry supply chain for many years, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a report stating that iOS 27 will further deepen system-level integration with Apple Intelligence. His latest industry survey shows that, to ensure the system continues to run smoothly under AI workloads, the DRAM specifications of the lower-end iPhones equipped with the A20 processor in 1H27 will be upgraded to 9GB (1.5GB×6-die), higher than the current 8GB (2GB×4-die) on A19 models. In 2H26, the three higher-end models equipped with the A20Pro processor (the foldable model and two 18Pro models) will maintain 12GB (1.5GB×8-die). (Cailianshe)
