Germany once again breaks its own highest temperature record.

On the afternoon of June 27 local time, according to preliminary data released by the German Weather Service, the preliminary temperature measured on that day in the Mücken-Drewitz region of eastern Germany reached 41.5 degrees Celsius, setting a new record for the highest temperature since meteorological records began in Germany. This is the second consecutive day that Germany has broken its highest temperature record. On June 26, the German Weather Service measured a high of 41.3 degrees Celsius in the western city of Saarbrücken, breaking the previous record. (CCTV News)
