C909 has been in commercial operation for ten years, with a cumulative delivery of 186 aircraft, accounting for 70% of the domestic regional fleet.

COMAC announced that the domestically produced commercial aircraft C909 has been in commercial operation for 10 years, with a total of 186 units delivered, accounting for 70% of the domestic regional fleet.
After ten years of operation, the C909 has grown into the main model in China's regional air transport market.
The C909 aircraft was initiated in 2002 and made its first flight in 2008.
As a domestically developed 90-seat medium- and short-range turbofan regional airliner, the C909 primarily undertakes transportation tasks between small and medium-sized cities and to hub airports, forming a differentiated complement with trunk airliners such as the C919.
