Why are AI data centers consuming enormous amounts of clean, potable water just to cool rows of servers?
Not recycled water.
Actual drinking quality water often tens of millions of gallons every day.
At a time when many communities are dealing with water shortages, why is one of our most essential resources being used to keep machines from overheating?
It feels like we’re prioritizing technology with something people themselves can’t live without.
