The lack of air conditioning in Europe

is mainly because it really isn't needed most of the time.
Summer in the UK is only just over 20 degrees Celsius.
Having a month of heat this year
is a pretty extreme El Niño.
Maybe by the time our generation reaches old age,
it will truly be unsuitable for people to go outside in the summer.
I wonder what the environmentalists in Europe
will think then.
Moreover, labor costs in Europe
are becoming incredibly high.
Plumbers, electricians, and various types of labor are all increasing in price.
