Abstract generation in progress
According to Ouest-France, the missing crypto influencer "CryptoGouv" from 2022 is suspected of promoting crypto investment opportunities to French investors through a Telegram community, requiring investors to transfer USDT, DAI, or BUSD into a "shared wallet," while regularly posting screenshots of abnormal short-term returns of +20%, +50%, +100%, etc., to attract more funds. The report says victims invested amounts ranging from 500 euros to 80k euros, with some losing all their savings; after the crypto market downturn in late 2022, his Telegram channel gradually went silent and was eventually deleted, and the funds in the associated crypto addresses were emptied. Ouest-France stated that through open-source investigation, victim testimonies, archived chat records, voice data, and on-chain addresses, journalists traced the clues to a main suspect named Anthony Goujon. The victims have filed a collective complaint in France, and the case still awaits further confirmation by police and judicial procedures.

Screenshot of short-term abnormal returns, the classic opening move of a pig-butchering scam in the crypto circle.

Missing since 2022, only now exposed; it's too hard for victims to seek justice.
