Have you ever been in that phase? With only a few hundred to a thousand U left in your account, hesitant to move, but the moment you open a trade, your hands just won't listen.

Deep down, you know you can't mess around anymore, but once you're in, the rhythm immediately goes off. You might be right on the direction, but you can't hold the trade, adjusting your stop-loss back and forth, and in the end, it's not about the direction being wrong—it's about your execution falling apart. One trade wipes out days of profit, or even blows through your bottom line.

This state isn't really a technical issue—it's your rhythm being off.
After losing money, the most common mistake people make is "trying to get back in the game quickly." The more anxious you get, the heavier your positions, the itchier your hands, and the bigger your risk exposure. In the end, it's not the market that takes you out—it's you breaking your own mindset.

I used to do that too back in the day. I traded really aggressively, heavy positions and high frequency, and the result was that my account was like a rollercoaster—make a little, lose it back, then start over. The direction wasn't that far off, but the execution was a complete mess.

Later on, I changed. Instead of learning some new indicator, I cut out all my old bad habits. The core was just three things:

Lower your position size; reduce your frequency; only trade the kind of setups where the structure is clear at a glance.

$VELVET

I stopped relying on gut feel. Every trade had to have a clear reason to enter and clear boundaries to exit. Once my rhythm stabilized, there was no explosive growth in the account, but the equity curve started to smooth out. Both wins and losses became smaller, but drawdowns were strictly capped.

The difference now boils down to one sentence: Before, I was gambling on the market. Now, I'm running the rhythm.

A lot of people get stuck, not because they can't see the direction, but because they can't keep their actions consistent under pressure. The market itself isn't that hard—what's hard is controlling yourself.

The phrase "rhythm is more important than direction" should be carved into the forehead. $AGLD I'll just watch from the sidelines for this one.

After reading, I silently adjusted the leverage from 20x to 5x. $VELVET This kind of clear structure is indeed more suitable for staying safe.

So true. When I had a few hundred U, I kept messing with my stop losses every day. In the end, I realized the biggest loss wasn't from the market, but from myself.
