OpenAI’s flagship model GPT-5.6 Sol lands exclusively on Cerebras, and “White-Haired Stock God” Serenity shouts “Technology Verified” to enter the market and buy the dip.

OpenAI recently released a next-generation frontier model, GPT-5.6 Sol, and announced a partnership with AI chip startup Cerebras, achieving an epic inference speed of 750 tokens per second. In response, renowned supply chain analyst Serenity stated that this is a strong validation of Cerebras' technical capabilities and revealed that they have entered a position in the $170 range, below the IPO price. However, they also cautioned that the company's current high valuation primarily relies on the premium brought by the "OpenAI halo."

In the artificial intelligence arms race, "inference speed" is becoming a new battleground for major models and chipmakers. OpenAI recently unveiled its so-called most powerful GPT-5.6 Sol model, and notably, this heavyweight model will run on the platform of AI chip startup Cerebras (stock ticker: $CBRS), showcasing astonishing hardware performance.

Record-Breaking 750 Tokens Per Second: Cerebras Technology Receives Top-Tier Recognition

Regarding this blockbuster partnership, renowned AI and semiconductor supply chain analyst Serenity (@aleabitoreddit) commented on the X platform on the 27th. They marveled: "OpenAI deploying its heavyweight 5.6 Sol frontier model on $CBRS is truly insane. Speeds up to 750 tokens per second is obscene performance."

Serenity noted that OpenAI, as a global AI leader, choosing to run its core flagship model on Cerebras' hardware undoubtedly serves as the best endorsement and validation of Cerebras' wafer-scale computing architecture technology. In a previous post, they also mentioned that, according to OpenAI's official benchmarks, the Sol Ultra version not only beats competitor Anthropic's Mythos 5 in programming and workflows but also performs better in biology and cybersecurity, reaffirming their optimism about OpenAI's leading position.

Kinda nutty OpenAI’s is launching its heavyweight 5.6 Sol frontier model on $CBRS.

At up to 750 tokens/sec, which is obscene performance.

American inference go brrr.

Analyst Buys Below IPO Price, Bullish on "OpenAI Premium"

Buoyed by this positive news, Serenity revealed they have taken actual investment action. They stated: "After seeing this news yesterday, I picked up some starter positions on Cerebras for the first time in the ~170s (below the $185 IPO price)."

However, as a professional analyst, they also objectively pointed out the valuation risks of investing in $CBRS :

  • High Valuation: Compared to traditional electronic manufacturing service providers with stable profitability and similar valuations (e.g., Jabil, $JBL), Cerebras' current valuation is indeed high.
  • Heavy Reliance on a Single Client: They believe that a significant portion of $CBRS 's current stock price includes a "premium for OpenAI exposure."

Serenity concluded that as long as OpenAI can maintain its absolute leading position in the AI field, Cerebras can continue to enjoy this premium dividend.
