HermesAgent launches MoA feature: Multi-model collaboration outperforms single model in benchmark scores.

CoinWorld news: HermesAgent has officially launched the MoA feature, supporting multi-model collaborative benchmarking and surpassing single-model performance. This open-source intelligent agent platform presents the MoA preset as a virtual model, allowing users to select it directly via the /model command or from the model dropdown menu in the desktop application. In addition, users can use the /moa [prompt] syntax to make a one-time quick call. The system temporarily enables the default MoA preset for a single round of conversation, and automatically restores the previous model after the answer is completed. In the upcoming hermesbench benchmark test, the MoA preset achieved a score of 82.02%, using claude-opus-4.8 as the aggregation model and gpt-5.5 as the reference model—an improvement of 6 percentage points compared to running claude-opus-4.8 alone, and an improvement of 11% compared to running gpt-5.5 alone.

The idea of multi-model collaborative scoring is quite interesting. It's equivalent to having several AIs review each other's work, and the output quality improves visibly.

Open source + low barrier, feels like we'll soon see various vertical scenario MoA workflows being shared.

HermesAgent's latest update turns MoA into a plug-and-play virtual model, lowering the barrier for multi-agent systems, allowing the community to quickly iterate and create many new use cases.

On the desktop, just pull down to select the MoA preset, which is much more user-friendly for non-technical users. Looking forward to more presets in the future.

MoA finally doesn't need to be configured manually anymore. The /moa one-click call is indeed convenient.
