Wu Shuo has learned that Craft founder Balint Orosz announced that Polymarket has acquired Craft Agents, and some members of the Craft team will join Polymarket accordingly. Balint Orosz will serve as the head of product engineering at Polymarket. Does anyone know what exactly Craft Agents does? Polymarket's acquisition of it instead of building its own team shows that technical barriers or speed are more important than money.

Wait, Craft became profitable? Previously there was no buzz at all, this wave is probably being acquired and incidentally exposing the financial status, right? Full narrative.

The acquisition news itself is not surprising, but the timing is subtle—Polymarket just experienced a traffic peak during the election, so it makes sense to bolster the tech team now. Craft's ability to sustain itself also counts as a graceful exit.

Prediction markets + AI Agents, this combination has a lot of imaginative potential. However, right after Craft turned profitable, its core team was poached, and the founder also left. How does this affect the long-term outlook for the original project?

Balint Orosz is personally leading product engineering, it looks like Polymarket is gearing up for major moves in the infra layer. On the Craft side, Viktor Pali has taken over, developing independently while remaining profitable—no losses on either end.

Polymarket’s acquisition this wave is interesting—Craft’s Agents technology is expected to help them optimize the automated execution of prediction markets.
