Swell Warns Users to Exit Swellchain as L2 Shutdown Reaches Deadline

Swell told users to bridge assets off Swellchain by June 23 or risk leaving funds that may be unrecoverable. The project had announced an April 28 sunset plan with a June 15 withdrawal deadline before later using the June 23 warning. Swell said slower restaking growth and cheaper Ethereum transactions weakened the case for keeping the Layer 2 chain alive.
