EU MiCA Licensing Deadline Nears as Europe Issues 230 Authorizations

Europe has issued 230 MiCA crypto licenses before the regulation officially takes effect on July 1, 2026. Crypto service providers without the license will be unable to offer new services within the EU. Germany leads with 56 authorizations. In France, approximately 40% of previously regulated crypto service providers have not submitted license applications.
