Abstract generation in progress
Mars Finance News, June 27 - Today, OpenAI released the preview version of the GPT-5.6 series models, including three different specifications: Sol, Terra, and Luna. These three specification names are derived from the Latin words for Sun (Sol), Earth (Terra), and Moon (Luna). OpenAI chose the solar system theme to name the model family, implying a "cosmos-wide AI capability hierarchy," bringing inspiration and a sense of timelessness. However, for the crypto community, these three words are also profoundly significant. SOL is the native token of the Solana blockchain. Terra was once a popular algorithmic stablecoin project, with LUNA as its core ecological token. The famous collapse of that ecosystem occurred in 2022, marking a major turning point in the crypto market's shift from a bull to a bear market. Regarding OpenAI's naming coinciding so heavily with the crypto space, Solana's official Twitter account wittily replied: Sam Altcoinman.
SOL1.95%
LUNA3.39%
