According to U Today, Patrick Shyu (online alias TechLead), former head of architecture and technology for Google’s YouTube app and a content creator, said in his latest YouTube video that he has sold off his entire cryptocurrency investment portfolio and suffered significant financial losses due to Bitcoin’s decline. Shyu said that Bitcoin fell from a $120,000 high point on October of last year to a $60,000 range low in this summer, and that he was hit by this round of downturn due to over-leveraging. He also questioned long-term risks such as market liquidity, miner fee economics, and quantum computing, but at the same time said that he remains bullish on the underlying technology for the long term.
