Jinse Finance reported that on June 27, local time on the evening of the 26th, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu delivered a televised speech, announcing that representatives of Israel, Lebanon, and the United States signed a major framework agreement in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, on the same day.
He emphasized that until Hezbollah in Lebanon completely disarms and eliminates the security threat to Israel, the Israeli military will maintain a long-term presence in the "security zone" in southern Lebanon.
Netanyahu reiterated in his speech that the agreement is a major achievement for Israel, "dealing a heavy blow to Iran."
He stated that Iran had attempted to force the Israeli military to withdraw from southern Lebanon through force, but Israel and the United States have clearly sent a signal to Iran: Iran, Hezbollah, and any other armed organizations have no foothold in Lebanese affairs. (CCTV)
