Middle East situation | Trump accuses Iran of attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz, violating US-Iran agreement
US President Trump on Friday accused Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement with the US by firing attack drones at ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, including one that hit a cargo ship near the coast of Oman on Thursday.
Trump said in a social media post that Iran launched at least four suicide one-way attack drones at ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, one of which hit the upper deck of a cargo ship, and the US military shot down the other three.
Trump said this was a stupid violation of the US-Iran ceasefire agreement.
