Fed's Kashkari changes outlook: expects one rate hike this year.

U.S. Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari said that it is currently expected that there will be one rate hike in 2026, and that the interest rate will remain unchanged in 2027. “In March, I had originally expected a rate cut once before the end of the year. By June, I had adjusted it to one rate hike before the end of the year.” We need to see how the lack of forward guidance plays out.
