🇷🇺 Putin signed a law on fines of up to 700 thousand rubles for using foreign authorization methods on Russian websites.

➠ Owners of Russian websites will have to disable authorization via Gmail, Google ID, Apple ID and other foreign services.

➠ The law applies only to website owners (legal entities, officials, and in some cases individuals), not to ordinary users.

➠ Users who log into websites via Gmail, Google ID, Apple ID and other foreign services will not be fined.

➠ Russian legislation provides for the use of four authorization methods: by phone number, via Gosuslugi, biometrics, or other Russian services (e.g., banking apps and Russian social networks).
