Need help with your crypto account? Stop before you DM that "support" account! Scammers often impersonate official team members to steal your funds. Here is how to spot a fake Gate.io support agent:

First, Gate.io support agent will never DM you first. If someone claiming to be from Gate.io sends you a private message offering to fix an issue, it is a scam. Always reach out through our official website help center.

Second, keep your password, Seed Phrase, Mnemonic, Master Key just for yourself, this is the very important rules a Gate.io real support agent only needs your UID (User ID) to check your account status.

Turn on the Anti-Phishing Code in your Gate.io security settings. Once this code is set, every real email from us will display your unique word or phrase. If the code is missing, the email is a trap. Delete it immediately.
