South Korean government establishes an inter-agency body to address AI-related crimes

Mars Finance News: On the 26th, the South Korean government formed an interdepartmental consultation body to address criminal activities involving the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, such as “digital crimes,” financial fraud, and false advertising. This new body is named the “Interdepartmental Consultation Body for Responding to Crimes Involving AI.” Its members come from 10 government departments, including the Broadcasting and Communications Commission, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Financial Services Commission, the National Police Agency, and others.
