Quantstamp Details Four-Year Zcash Bug That Could Counterfeit ZEC

Quantstamp published a technical breakdown of a Zcash Orchard bug that could mint undetectable shielded ZEC for roughly four years. Shielded Labs said no cryptographic proof can show whether the bug was exploited. A June 4 proposal would create a new shielded pool and use turnstile accounting for coins leaving Orchard, pending governance.
