It's back in the game, let me break down my reasoning.
The main thing is the ADR issuance:
For Hynix, making $30 billion in a quarter means they're not hurting for cash. There are two reasons for issuing ADRs:
1. It allows Hynix to leverage the US market valuation.
2. Listing in the US can bundle interests with American institutions, giving them a geopolitical edge.
So, it's highly likely we'll see a stock buyback plan from Hynix soon, which should pump up the stock price.
Samsung next door has already done this, and today the Korean stock market surged, so there's no basis for a massive drop.
