Kennedy Dismisses Crypto Role in US Affordability Hearing

Senator John Kennedy dismissed Cody Carbone's testimony at a Senate Banking Committee affordability hearing, saying crypto is not the problem with the US economy. Carbone said digital assets could help affordability through faster and cheaper transactions and lower barriers to asset transfer. The CLARITY Act is expected to face a full Senate vote in a matter of weeks, but no floor vote was scheduled as of Tuesday.
