🤔 $1,500 Defense Battle, $ETH How long can the bulls hold?

Bitcoin$BTC lost the $60k mark again, and Ethereum dipped to 1510 at its lowest. The Fear & Greed Index has fallen to 12, extreme fear. Today, tens of billions of options expire. How will the market actually move?

Let's look at the ETH chart first.

Daily chart shows three consecutive bearish candles, all moving averages are in bearish alignment. RSI6 is only 19.78, indeed oversold, but oversold does not mean an immediate rebound. MACD is still hovering below the zero line, with DIF and DEA converging.

The 1500-1510 zone is very critical.

If it holds, there's still a chance to catch a breath; if it doesn't, the downside space is open — 1420 or even 1350-1400. Above, 1560-1570 is the first resistance; only if it breaks above that can we look at 1620.

Bitcoin is also not optimistic.

It has temporarily held support around 58,000, but the rebound to 60,000-60,300 clearly stalled.

The ETH/BTC exchange rate hit a nearly two-year low, with funds flowing from Ethereum to Bitcoin and stablecoins.

The recent drop is also related to the blow-up of Strategy's STRC preferred stock. The company holds 840k BTC with an average cost of $75,651, and its paper loss exceeds $11 billion. The market fears it may be forced to sell coins for cash to pay dividends, forming a negative cycle of "sell more as it falls, fall more as it sells."

Here are a few personal opinions.

1️⃣ At the 1500 level, both bulls and bears should watch closely. If it stabilizes with volume, you can try a light long for a bounce, but stop-loss must be strict. If it breaks below 1495 on the close, don't hold.

2️⃣ Today is options expiry day, with the most volatility around the US market open. Reduce leverage, watch more and trade less, don't force it.

3️⃣ In this round, ETH is clearly weaker than Bitcoin. If you want to go long, prioritize Bitcoin; if you want to go short, focus on ETH — it falls faster.
