Seals are agile and intelligent marine mammals, often seen sunbathing on rocks or swimming in groups. Their bodies are sleek, their fins are strong, and their eyes are large for clear vision in water.

They can dive deep and hold their breath for a long time when hunting fish, squid, or krill. On land they appear clumsy, but once in the sea they transform into nimble dancers.

Seals are also social animals. They like to vocalize, play, and take very good care of their pups. Unfortunately, many populations are threatened due to fishing nets, plastic waste, and climate change.

Protecting seals means maintaining the balance of the ocean. When they are healthy, it means the marine food chain is also healthy.
