If in the future I raise a child, I think there are a few seemingly small but truly impactful major matters that are worth cultivating from a very young age. That way, when they grow up, they can avoid many detours:

1️⃣ Proper breathing habits
Adults who try to correct poor breathing habits often need to put in several times the effort to truly fix them. Developing the habit of deep nasal breathing from childhood will benefit a child for life.
2️⃣ Good posture
Proper breathing itself naturally improves the alignment of the spine, shoulders, neck, and pelvis. Paying attention to posture from a young age is much easier than trying to correct it with great effort later in life.
3️⃣ Skin care
Establishing awareness of skincare habits like sun protection, moisturizing, and a regular routine from childhood will result in a much better skin foundation later in life, saving a lot of effort on subsequent repair and maintenance.
4️⃣ Critical thinking
Cultivating a child's ability to question things and understand the world with curiosity and a scientific spirit of exploration from a young age is more valuable than simply imparting knowledge. It will stay with them for life.
I've already sketched out a five-year plan and a ten-year plan for raising a child—I just need the child now.
