He Xiaopeng stated that XPeng's smart driving is about to go overseas.

Mars Finance reports that on June 25, He Xiaopeng revealed in a WeChat Moments post that the second-generation VLA has moved into a definite mode for global rollout. He mentioned that the DCAS UNR 171 series 02 approved by WP.29 will take effect as an EU mandatory regulation after six months—“meaning that by the end of 2026, autonomous driving can legally enter the global market.” He also teased, “Stay tuned for the entry and experience of VLA and VLM for Xpeng vehicles overseas in 2027 (for example, overseas users can use a mix of Chinese and local languages to talk to their car and control it).”
