Jinse Finance reported that on June 26, SEB’s Jussi Hiljanen said in a report that hopes for a sustainable U.S.-Iran peace agreement pushed the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield toward 4.40%, and that in the coming months this yield may hover around this level. “We believe the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield is likely to lack a clear trend in the coming months, mainly fluctuating within the range of 4.30%-4.50%,” the chief strategist said. Hiljanen added that SEB still believes that a sustainable resolution of the conflict alone is unlikely to trigger a downward trend in yields, which would also require support from macroeconomic data and communication from the Federal Reserve.
