Song Xiqing: 4040 has indeed held, but the real test for gold has just begun.

Friday's movement was pretty much as I expected, with clear resistance on the upside. It came all the way down from 4040 and is now nearing my first target around 3980.

For now, 3960 is providing temporary support. If it can hold, we could consider entering long. But if it fails, we'll have to look lower.

3860 will likely be touched, but gold never moves straight up or down—there will be plenty of back-and-forth along the way. So the most important thing now is to protect what we have and keep waiting for signals.
