$TRUMP Many people thought 1.64 was low enough, but they watched it keep dropping. Directly short near 1.645, and still short on a bounce to 1.649–1.65, with stop loss set above 1.668. Both the 4-hour and daily charts are pressing downward. Yesterday it plummeted from 1.724 all the way to 1.56, and the current retracement hasn't flipped the structure yet—the structure takes precedence. But here's the issue: futures active long positions surged to 1.24, with a 40.41% increase in 7 hours, but open interest only rose by 1.19%, and the funding rate is still negative. There are too many chasing longs, but not enough real incremental volume. First look at 1.622, then 1.596, and finally 1.56. Holding onto a losing position is just waiting to die. Going forward, only when there's hype can prices rise; without hype, it's basically all downside.
