Number of crypto investors fell to a 6-year low
In the second quarter of 2026, the number of unique crypto investors dropped to 651.
For comparison, at the peak in 2022, there were 2 564.
It was lower only in 2020, when quarterly participation was in the range of 250–450 investors.
Capital is concentrated among a small group of funds, while retail investor participation remains significantly below the highs of the previous cycle.
