Warsh is actually very impressive. He knows there is serious division within the Federal Reserve, so in his first public appearance, he directly announced two things.

1: Set up working groups to soften disagreements.
2: There will be no forward guidance in the future; Fed policy will basically be like opening a blind box from now on.
Trump was interesting yesterday. While Warsh was speaking, he said: "Regarding the possibility of the Fed raising interest rates, it could happen."
This is real support for Warsh. Warsh is himself a hawkish figure, the person Trump himself put forward, and he loves his own!#沃什首秀美联储利率不变

Yesterday's Waller debut was quite hawkish!

Splitting into working groups plus canceling forward guidance is tantamount to black-boxing Federal Reserve decision-making, and market volatility is set to soar. If Trump raises interest rates at this moment, the implicit coordination is just too obvious.

Warsh’s move is quite clever. Since the disagreements were too great, he simply didn’t give advance notice—so going forward, the market will have to learn to guess the blind box on its own. What Trump said clearly was backing his own child. The hawkish faction taking power is confirmed.
