Thailand issues arrest warrant for Chinese businessman in mining case



Thai authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Chinese businessman Wang Yicheng in a case involving illegal crypto mining. This is reported by Reuters citing the Department of Special Investigations.

According to the department, the network used stolen electricity worth approximately $28 million and laundered proceeds from scams and online gambling. In November, Wang Yicheng was charged with theft and violating computer crime laws. The investigation believes he has left the country.
