On June 25, the foreign ministers of Iran and Oman discussed progress in navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. According to CCTV News, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi held a phone call on June 25 to discuss progress in maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The two sides exchanged views on the regional situation and issues of mutual concern, including temporary transit arrangements during the 60-day transition period. The two foreign ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination, advancing bilateral consultations, and promoting technical and expert-level engagement.
