Institution: NVIDIA’s 800V Power Rack Chosen for Vera Rubin; Expected to Expand Adoption for the Rubin Ultra Generation
According to TrendForce’s latest research on AI server power supply architectures, NVIDIA is advancing its 800V HVDC power rack solution, and plans to complete inventory preparations in Q3 2026 to serve Vera Rubin customers, who can choose it as a non-standard configuration. Based on rack power consumption design, the 800V Power Rack will gradually increase its rollout after the Rubin Ultra series is launched in the second half of 2027, and is expected to achieve large-scale adoption in 2028.
BlockBeats, June 25: According to TrendForce’s latest AI Server power supply architecture research, NVIDIA is actively building its own 800V HVDC Power Rack solution, targeting inventory completion in Q3 2026, to provide options for Vera Rubin customers with demand as a non-standard configuration. From the power consumption design of each rack, NVIDIA’s 800V Power Rack should see gradually expanding adoption after the Rubin Ultra series in the second half of 2027; large-scale adoption is currently underway.
