EasyJet, the UK’s second-largest low-cost carrier, on Thursday rejected the fourth — and higher-value — takeover offer of nearly 5 billion pounds (US$6.5 billion) from American investment firm Castlelake, but said it would allow the latter limited access to commercial information in the hope of securing a higher bid.
