Confusing, data shows that Bitcoin long-term holders currently control 79% of the circulating supply, a record high, making the available supply for trading even tighter.
But since the circulating supply is becoming smaller, why does BTC keep falling? Could the actual quantity be much larger? For instance, are the bitcoins used to dump on various exchanges real BTC? Could there be many fabricated bitcoins? I remember a Korean exchange once messed up the digital unit, mistakenly issuing BTC far exceeding its reserve to user account balances. $BTC
