The painful truth is this: many Nigerians cry for change, yet a good number of us neither question what we hear nor think critically about what we’re told or even read in between lines.

That is why our political leaders don’t rate us. They know most people can sell their votes for a loaf of bread, a few naira, or empty promises. They will now ganish it with tribalism, ethnicity and religion.
Our religious leaders don’t rate us either. Some can hide behind the name of God, twist the truth, and many will still accept it without question. After all, whatever God can't do doesn't exist.
Even our security agencies don’t rate us. They know they can gaslight the public and tell us terrorists are merely “hunters,” and many will defend the narrative without asking hard questions.
A nation cannot truly change until its people learn to question, read, reason, and demand accountability.
The Nigerian Politicians are the luckiest on earth and yes, we deserve our leaders. They are a true reflection of the society.
