Ebola Outbreak Cases in DR Congo Increase, Community Spread Intensifies

The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) released an Ebola epidemic report on the 23rd, showing that the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the country has risen to 1,094. According to the report from the DRC Ministry of Health, 387 patients are in isolation or hospitalized, with a cumulative total of 115 recoveries and 277 deaths. There are also 131 suspected cases, including 44 suspected deaths.
