Eight years of sharpening a sword | TRON mainnet's 8th anniversary, just one step away from 400 million accounts

On June 25, 2018, the TRON mainnet went live.

As of now, the total number of TRON accounts has reached 389 million, just one step away from the 400 million account mark. If calculated based on the current growth rate, the 400 million account milestone is already in sight.

Looking back at TRON's growth trajectory over the past eight years, it seems more like a process of continuous accumulation.

1 / Accounts grew from 0 to 389 million.
2 / Cumulative transaction count exceeded 12 billion.
3 / On-chain TVL reached $26.1 billion.
4 / Total protocol revenue exceeded $13 billion.
5 / Active accounts exceeded 5.1 million.
6 / USDD TVL reached $2.3 billion.

Over the past eight years, TRON has added an average of nearly 49 million accounts per year, an average of over 130k accounts per day, and processed an average of over 4 million transactions per day.

Eight years ago, TRON had just migrated from an ERC-20 token to its independent mainnet.

Eight years later, TRON has grown into a network with nearly 400 million accounts and hundreds of billions of dollars in asset value.

From 0 to 389 million accounts, from the first transaction to 12 billion transactions, from an industry newcomer to one of the most active blockchains in the world.

Over eight years, TRON has added a bit of users, a bit of transactions, and a bit of value accumulation every day.

When the time is long enough, growth itself becomes the strongest moat, and 400 million accounts may just be the beginning of the next phase.
