Crypto often celebrates volume.

Large numbers attract attention.
High trading activity creates headlines.
But volume and utility aren't always the same thing.
Volume can be temporary.
Utility tends to persist.
A protocol can experience high activity because of incentives.
But sustainable ecosystems are usually built around genuine usefulness.
Can users solve real problems?
Can liquidity be utilized effectively?
Can participation remain valuable beyond short-term rewards?
These questions matter more than a single day's volume statistics.
This is one reason I find infrastructure-focused protocols interesting.
Their value often comes from enabling utility rather than generating excitement.
STONfi is a good example.
Its long-term importance isn't measured solely by trading activity.
It's measured by how effectively it helps users interact with the TON ecosystem.
Because ultimately, utility creates retention.
And retention creates lasting growth.
