⛽ Trump: “Oil Is Down… So Why Isn’t Gasoline Cheaper Yet?”

👀Since the Strait of Hormuz reopened, WTI crude oil has fallen sharply from nearly $100 to around $73 per barrel.
⚠️ But according to President Trump, consumers still aren’t seeing enough relief at the gas pump.
Speaking publicly, Trump criticized major oil companies for keeping gasoline prices elevated despite benefiting from much cheaper crude oil prices.
🗣️ “Oil companies are refusing to significantly lower gasoline prices even though they’re buying oil at bargain levels. It’s clear they’re taking advantage of consumers.”
🚨 Trump said he has instructed the U.S. Department of Justice to immediately investigate the situation.
According to him:
• Gasoline prices should be falling much faster
• Consumers are not receiving the full benefit of lower oil prices
• Energy companies may be expanding profit margins instead of passing savings on to the public
📉 Markets are now watching whether political pressure could force U.S. fuel prices lower in the coming weeks.
