Hong Kong Police Force officer Xu Bogo, a sharpshooter, ranked second out of more than 2,000 in the promotion exam to sergeant.
But he failed in stock and real estate investments, and due to his introverted personality and poor relationships within the force, he became a "double-faced evil cop," even killing several police colleagues, shocking Hong Kong.
First, he lured and killed officer Leung Sing-on, stole his service pistol, then robbed a bank, committing a major crime, and still planned to do some big things, idolizing Hitler.
One night, he specifically chose to ambush in the Sheung Sha Tsui pedestrian tunnel, the only one without CCTV cameras, where police officers patrol and record.
At 1:12 a.m., patrol officers Sin Ka-keung and Tsang Kwok-hang arrived in the tunnel, signed in, and prepared to leave. Just as they were about to ascend the tunnel stairs, they suddenly encountered the suspect wearing old-fashioned brown plastic-framed glasses and a black wig, leaning against the wall on the left side of the stairs.
Before they could question him, Xu Bogo drew his gun and fired rapidly at the two. Sin Ka-keung, who was in front, was shot and fell to the ground, followed by Tsang Kwok-hang, who was also shot and collapsed.
Sin Ka-keung, despite being shot in the face, fought back stubbornly, but his shots missed. Xu Bogo moved forward to take Sin Ka-keung’s pistol, but Sin Ka-keung held on tightly. During their struggle, Tsang Kwok-hang, who had been shot five times, miraculously raised his hand and fired five shots at Xu Bogo, all hitting him and killing him instantly. He also called for backup on his radio.
Unfortunately, Tsang Kwok-hang, known as “Brave Boy,” was also shot multiple times and died on the scene, while Sin Ka-keung survived.
Today, I happened to see this case and feel even more respect for Hong Kong police. Hong Kong’s safety depends on the efforts of officers like A SIR.
