🚨 HYPE $62 Bull-Bear Life and Death Battle! 110 million short orders pressing down, whales secretly accumulating—Which side are you on?

“You think the bottom is the end, but it might be the bears’ appetizer; you think the top is the peak, but it could be the whales’ starting point.”

HYPE shows a “parabolic drop” on the one-hour chart, retracing nearly 20% from the $77 all-time high, currently barely holding at $62. The technical QMACD death cross continues, DIF: -0.705, DEA: 0.926, bearish momentum is still being released.

Leaked liquidation map reveals a secret:
Above, the 64-65 range is filled with short positions. Once the price rebounds to this area, it will trigger a chain of stop-losses by bears, creating a short squeeze. But don’t celebrate too early—smart money overview shows that a whale holds $110 million in short orders, with an average price around $64, currently with huge unrealized profits and no open positions. This means, unless the price quickly pulls back above $65, any rebound is an opportunity for shorts to add positions.

But it’s not that simple: another whale cut ETH two weeks ago at a loss of $380k, and in the past two days, bought back 100k HYPE (worth $6.69 million), now with an unrealized profit of $8 million. The whale’s total holdings on Hyperliquid platform are $4.3 billion, with a long-short ratio of 0.99—almost evenly split—both sides are betting, whoever blinks first loses.

On the news front, about 9.92 million HYPE will unlock on July 6 (worth about $678 million), the largest single unlock in history. Supply shock ahead, bears are fearless.

Anna’s trading approach:

Long-term mainly short on rallies, short-term can buy on dips, token unlocks will cause a wave of price increases! Operate based on the size of the position!

🟢 Bullish (Aggressive): Try buying around current price or near $60-62.

Logic: Whale’s cost basis around $60, ETF monthly inflow of $184 million.

🔴 Bearish (Conservative): Short on rebounds near $65-64.5.

Logic: 110 million short orders pressing down, making it hard for bulls to break through.

Pulling a wave before unlocking is the usual practice. Anna’s way of thinking makes sense—just a small position, with a short-term long.

The long-short ratio of 0.99 indicates a huge divergence. At such times, I actually prefer to wait until unlocking to see the direction.

Position 62 is indeed delicate, with whale cost basis + ETF inflows, but 110 million in short positions pressing down, so I choose to wait and see.

110M short positions have an average entry price of 64. They’re now sitting on huge unrealized profits, yet they still won’t close—indicating they’re betting on a sharp drop after the unlock. I’m short.
