Why is it that with the same 5,000 USD, some people make 50k in a month, while others lose 500 in three days?
It's not the market that makes the difference, but whether they treat leverage as a tool or as a gambling table.
Many people think the higher the leverage, the easier it is to blow up. Actually, that's a big mistake.
What truly wipes you out is never 20x or 50x leverage, but opening high leverage and insisting on going all-in.
Here's a straightforward example:
You want to hold a 5,000 USD position.
Using 500 USD to open 10x, and using 250 USD to open 20x, both leverage a total of 5,000 USD.
If the market rises by 1%, both sides make roughly the same profit.
But what if it drops by 1%? $BEAT
500 USD at 10x, loses 50 USD, which is only 10% of the margin.
250 USD at 20x, also loses 50 USD, but already consumes 20% of the margin.
And then, your mindset collapses.
So, many people don’t lose because of the market, but because they don’t know how to allocate their positions.
If your account has 10k USD:
Using 1,000 USD to open 10x, you can only do this 10 times at most.
But if you use 500 USD to open 20x, splitting that 500 USD into 20 parts, you can do it 20 times.
With the same money, the latter is actually more flexible and safer.
The real purpose of high leverage isn’t to go all-in at once, but to hold small positions, multiple entries, and staggered trades.
If you see it right, add; if you see it wrong, walk away.
Low leverage is suitable for those who can withstand fluctuations and prefer heavy positions to hold on stubbornly.
High leverage is suitable for those who prefer quick entries and exits, only taking on certain opportunities.
Choose the style that suits you, and use that approach.
Don’t get jealous just because someone else makes several times their money with 50x leverage and rush in.
You only see their winning trade, but not the ten trades they blew up before. $JCT
In trading, in the end, it’s not about who has the bigger guts, but who is more stable.
Steady positions, steady stop-losses, steady execution.
I’ve seen too many people lose from 50k USD down to 8,000 USD in a week; I’ve also seen some grow from 5,000 USD step by step to 200k USD. #0成本拿2股SK海力士
The difference isn’t skill, but whether you treat leverage as gambling or as a tool.
